Dua Lipa's latest bridal look proves she's doing weddings her own way
If anyone thought Dua Lipa would suddenly turn into a traditional bride, her latest appearance in Italy has put that idea to rest.
The singer is in the middle of wedding celebrations with Callum Turner, and while the setting couldn't be more romantic, it was her outfit that stole the spotlight.
Dua was spotted in Palermo, Sicily, surrounded by friends and family as the festivities continued. She looked relaxed, happy and completely in her element. But let's be honest, all eyes were on the dress.
For the pre-wedding event, she chose an ivory Bottega Veneta number that felt very different from the typical bridal look. It had a halter neckline, an open back and a feather-trimmed hem that swayed as she walked. Elegant? Yes. Predictable? Not even close.
It was the kind of dress that didn't scream for attention but still managed to get it.
She kept the accessories polished with a matching clutch and Bulgari jewellery, adding just enough sparkle without making the look feel overdone. A watch finished things off, giving the outfit a slightly cool, unfussy edge.
The whole look felt very Dua. Fashion-forward, a little unexpected and completely confident.
The celebrations reportedly brought together a long list of famous faces, including Charli XCX, George Daniel, Joe Alwyn, Troye Sivan, Mark Ronson and Grace Gummer. Looking at the guest list, it felt less like a typical wedding event and more like a gathering of music and fashion insiders on holiday.
What's interesting is that this isn't the first time Dua has ignored the usual bridal style rules.
When she and Turner tied the knot in London on May 31, she skipped the classic wedding gown altogether. Instead, she wore a striking Schiaparelli couture suit-dress designed by Daniel Roseberry. Gloves, Christian Louboutin heels and an oversized hat completed the look.
Most brides dream of the perfect white dress. Dua showed up looking like a fashion editorial, and somehow made it work.
Turner took a much more traditional route in a navy suit and tie, creating a nice contrast between the two.
The couple first sparked dating rumours back in early 2024 after being spotted together in London. Since then, fans have followed their relationship closely, from public appearances to social media moments and eventually their engagement.
Dua later confirmed the engagement herself in an interview with British Vogue, ending months of speculation.
Now the pair are celebrating with friends under the Sicilian sun, and judging by the photos, they're making the most of it.
And while weddings are usually remembered for the vows, the venue or the guest list, Dua seems determined to give people something else to talk about too. One unforgettable outfit at a time.
