These introductory classes provide a foundation on which the more complicated learning is based. The term propaedeutic refers to such introductory classes intended to provide the learner with the knowledge or skills to eventually help him or her.The term propaedeutic is normally used to refer to introductory classes, courses, or training intended to provide the learner with the knowledge or skills to eventually help him or her.
