Stranded for 3 hours: NCP leader Supriya Sule slams Air India, says ‘travellers deserve better’

Baramati MP and NCP leader Supriya Sule slammed Air India for delaying her flight and failing to provide proper communication or assistance to passengers.In a post on X, Sule said her Delhi–Pune Air India flight (AI 2971) was delayed by three hours. She said there was no clear communication or support from the airline, leaving many passengers helpless. She urged the civil aviation minister Ram Mohan Naidu to take action. She also tagged Tata’s official handle, saying, “travellers deserve better.”In response to her post, Naidu said he had spoken to the airline and airport authorities, and they were asked to urgently address the concerns of all affected passengers.Air India on Tuesday cancelled several international flights, including those to London, Paris, San Francisco and Dubai, attributing to several reasons such as airspace restrictions, safety checks and other operational issues.
