Salem (South) election results 2026: Vijay Tamilan of TVK beats DMK's Loganathan by 33,369 votes

Vijay Tamilan Parthiban A of TVK emerged as the winner of assembly elections 2026 from the Salem (South) constituency, defeating DMK's Loganathan by 33,369 votes. Parthiban secured 91,371 votes while Loganathan stood second with 58,002 votes.
Meanwhile, Vinoth J, fielded by AIADM gained 50,2016 votes.

Salem (South) Assembly constituency is located in Salem district of Tamil Nadu and forms part of the Salem Lok Sabha constituency.
