Congress tries to rope in MPs, opposition to protest against governor
Sources said the party has initiated a memorandum which is to be signed by all the Congress Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs. Congress is also seeking the signatures of members of political parties sympathetic to their cause. The joint opposition memorandum, protesting against the alleged high-handedness and “unconstitutional” actions of Rajasthan governor Kalraj Mishra, will be presented to the President.

The attack on Congress came on a day when BJP MLA Madan Dilawar filed two fresh petitions before the Rajasthan high court challenging the BSP-Congress merger in the state.
