Rahul Gandhi US Visit Live Updates: Indian democracy broken from last 10 years, now it is fighting back, says Rahul Gandhi
Rahul Gandhi US Visit Live Updates: During his address in Dallas, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi discussed unemployment, education, and technology. He pointed out that both India and the West are facing job crises, suggesting India should enhance its own production capabilities. Gandhi explained that while many countries struggle with unemployment, others like China and Vietnam are not, attributing this to a historical shift in global production. He observed that production moved from the West to South Korea, Japan, and now China, due to the West’s retreat from manufacturing.Gandhi argued that India needs to rethink its approach to manufacturing and align it with democratic principles. Reflecting on his Bharat Jodo Yatra, he mentioned how it reshaped his political views by incorporating the idea of love into politics. On education, he criticized the lack of respect for skilled individuals and called for better integration between education and vocational training. Regarding Artificial Intelligence, Gandhi acknowledged its potential to both displace and create jobs, urging thoughtful management of its impact. He made these remarks during a live interaction with students at the University of Texas in Dallas.
