Kaduthuruthy Election Result 2026: Adv. Mons Joseph Secures Commanding Victory

Adv. Mons Joseph secures a dominant victory in Kaduthuruthy with over 70,000 votes, defeating Kerala Congress (M)’s Nirmala Jimmy by a massive margin of more than 31,000 votes.

Kaduthuruthy Assembly constituency, numbered 94, is located in Kottayam district of Kerala and falls under the Kottayam parliamentary constituency.

Established in 1957 and redefined in the 2008 delimitation, it covers Kaduthuruthy panchayat and surrounding areas like Kuravilangad, Melukavu, and nearby villages, with around 131,000 electors. This general seat features rubber-paddy farming, Christian-majority communities (Syrian Catholics prominent), small-scale industries, and rural-urban fringes, blending agrarian lifestyles with suburban growth near Changanassery.

Kerala Congress (KEC), aligned with UDF, dominates through Adv. Mons Joseph as current MLA since 2006 (with faction switches).
