PM Modi kicks off his NDA Bihar campaign from Samastipur's Karpurigram, the birthplace of socialist icon and former Bihar chief minister late Karpoori Thakur.

Honouring the legacy of the iconic socialist leader 'Bharat Ratna' Karpuri Thakur, PM Modi paid triubute to him at his birthplace in Samastipur. The socialist leader is remembered for his lifelong dedication to social justice and empowerment of the underprivileged.

PM Modi addressed the public rally in Samastipur. Taking a sharp dig at RJD, the prime minister asked the people to turn on their mobile flashlights. He then went on to say, "Har ek haath mein light hai toh lantern (RJD symbol) chahiye kya?"

PM Modi dropped a strong hint about CM Nitish Kumar leading the NDA in Bihar once again. Although he did not officially announce the alliance’s chief ministerial face, PM Modi praised Kumar’s leadership, expressing confidence that “under Nitish Kumar’s leadership, the NDA will break all previous records of victory, and Bihar will deliver its biggest-ever mandate.”

Amid the festive spirit of Chhath Puja, PM urged citizens to share traditional Chhath songs. Following this, Bihar woman recorded and sang a heartfelt Chhath Geet, affectionately mentioning “Modi Bhaiya” in her rendition.
