The Right to Vote is one of the biggest strengths a citizen has in a democracy. So to practice this right a voter must be completely aware and informed about the provisions available to him/her by the government of the country.

For those who wish to and who are eligible to cast their votes in the upcoming Himachal Pradesh elections can know their respective constituency by following these simple steps:

* Visit the web page http://himachal.nic.in

* On the homepage click on the ninth option which says "Know your Constituency"

* A new window with the Title "Know your Constituency" will open.

* Select your district from the dropdown that is available on the right-hand side under the title "Select District"

* On the left-hand side is the option of "Locality/Colony Name" wherein you will have to manually enter your locality.

* After entering the details click on the "Search" tab

Your respective constituency will now appear in front of you.
