Dharmadom assembly results: CPI(M)’s Pinarayi Vijayan wins by 19,247 votes

Dharmadam Assembly constituency has delivered a decisive mandate with all 15/15 EVM rounds completed. Chief Minister and CPI(M) candidate Pinarayi Vijayan secured a comfortable victory with a margin of 19,247 votes, finishing at 85,614 votes. He defeated Congress candidate Adv. V.P. Abdul Rasheed, who polled 66,367 votes, while independent candidate K. Ranjith trailed further behind with 18,555 votes.Dharmadom, located in Kannur district, has an electorate of around 1.9 lakh, combining urban and semi-rural areas.CPI(M)’s P. Jayarajan won in 2021, defeating UDF by roughly 3,000 votes. BJP’s presence is minimal.
