Coronavirus live updates: More than 27 lakh vaccinated on day 1 of Tika Utsav

Over 1.52 lakh new cases were reported in India in the last 24 hours, the health ministry said on Sunday. Five states - Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Kerala cumulatively account for 70.82 per cent of India's active Covid-19 cases. Stay here for all live updates

Tamil Nadu: Sea beaches in Chennai, Chengalpattu and Thiruvallur districts to remain closed for the public on all Saturdays, Sundays and on government holidays from April 11 until further orders, reports ANI
