Basirhat Uttar election results 2026: Md Tauseef Rehman of TMC wins against Narayan Chandra Mondal of BJP

Md Tauseef Rehman of the All India Trinamool Congress won the Basirhat Uttar Assembly constituency, defeating Narayan Chandra Mondal of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Basirhat Uttar is a general category constituency in North 24 Parganas and is part of the Basirhat Lok Sabha seat. It covers Basirhat II community development block and several panchayats from the Hasnabad block. The seat has a large Muslim electorate and has seen dramatic swings in recent years.
