Should some roads in Nagpur be made vehicle-free for a few hours?

Our roads are becoming more and more clogged and polluted every day. Being on them is rarely a pleasure. But what if your could reclaim the roads for some time during off-peak hours, and use them for to improve your health, learn some new skills and rediscover your favourite childhood pastime?

I think its not just roads in Nagpur that should be made vehicle free, this should happen pan India. We should choose one day for each week to make it free of vehicles. We can also make a law that on Mondays Cars and vehicles with EVEN last digit in their number plate will not hit roads that day, it can be odd number for Tuesdays and prime numbers for Wednesdays etc.

Yes that would a big relief for not only people but also to animals and plants. This can be done by making roads vehicle free during off- peak ours and people should take roads for some time like to play a game to organize a program or just to get some free time form this running life.

Surely will help.... Especially in places like Sitabuldi, Sadar, Itwari where no place to walk is available.... Allowing vehicle is notorious...

The movement in Mumbai was a success, It will be great when people can have fun on the road without having to worry about vehicular traffic

Sorry to say NO. This is not feasible to all! Why would you make roads free of traffic for even an hour? Think about impacts on the locality by means of commerce, transportation, emergency services, and other domestic requriements. It may also cause accidents when once the tarffic is open to ply after short BAN. India's population is SOOO BIGGG, such plans are not WELCOME!

It does not really help. After those few hours the congestion and commotion will definitely increase!
