Malavika Mohanan is set to make her Telugu debut alongside Prabhas with the upcoming horror comedy ‘The Raja Saab’ directed by Maruthi. During the pre-release event of the film, she shared her experience of working in the Tollywood industry and working with ‘Baahubali’ star Prabhas.At the pre-release event of ‘The Raja Saab’, Malavika Mohanan came on stage with a lot of happiness in her heart. She shared how special this film is for her. She greeted the fans and said this day means a lot to her. She said she always loved the Telugu film industry. It was her dream to work here. She always wanted her first Telugu film to be very special. But she said she never thought she would make her debut opposite India’s biggest superstar.She said, “Fans ki aayna, Darling! Fans ki aayna, Rebel God! Naaku maatram, Raja Sahib!” Calling him “one of the sweetest”, she said, “Prabhas sir, it has been an absolute honour sharing the screen with you and getting to know you as a person. You are one of the sweetest people I have ever worked with. She also thanked the director, Maruthi, for her role in the film. “Most directors give their actresses only songs and romance, but you gave me songs, romance, comedy, drama, and action, in a film that stars the Action King. Thank you so much for that,” she added.Yesterday, the makers unveiled the first look of her character, Bhairavi. The poster showed her wearing a black saare and is seen wearing a fancy bracelet and holding a small handbag. She lifts her sunglasses and looks very strong and calm.The movie is set release on January 9, 2026, in multiple languages.
