‘Peddi’: Makers likely to drop 'Kushti' teaser on Ram Charan’s birthday - Report

Ram Charan will next be seen in the upcoming sports action drama, ‘Peddi’ directed by Buchi Bana Sana. Ahead of the actor’s birthday next week, recent reports suggest that a teaser is likely to be released on his special day.As per Aakashavaani, the makers are expected to release a teaser for the film, titled “Kushti,” on Ram Charan’s birthday, March 27. However, the makers have not officially confirmed anything yet. So, everyone is waiting for a clear announcement.Directed by ‘Uppena’ fame Buchi Babu Sana, the film is reportedly a sports action drama and mostly revolves around a cricket tournament in a village. Additionally, Bollywood’s Janhvi Kapoor will mark her second Telugu outing opposite Ram Charan’s rugged and long beard look, following her debut with Jr NTR in ‘Devera’. Earlier, the team showed Janhvi Kapoor as Achiyamma. She looks happy and full of life in the village setup. Her role seems fun and lively.The film also includes Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, and Boman Irani. The music of the film is composed by AR Rahman. The makers have released two songs so far: the first ‘Chikri Chikri’ and the second song ‘Rai Rai Raa Raa’ was released recently. It is a fast and fun dance song. Ram Charan’s moves and Rahman’s voice made it special in both Telugu and Tamil. After this film, Ram Charan will work with Sukumar again. Their new project is currently called ‘RC17’. They previously worked together on ‘Rangasthalam,’ which was a big hit.Coming back to ‘Peddi’, the release date was first planned for March 27 but has since been pushed to April 30, 2026.
