Telugu movies set to release in June, 2022

June promises to be as exciting as May was for Tollywood, going by the strong lineup of films. June 2022 will see the release of some highly anticipated movies from different genres, and some of them went through various delays. From highly-anticipated movies like 'Major' and 'Ante Sundaraniki' to rom-coms like 'Sammathame' and 'Krishna Vrinda Vihari', here are all the movies releasing this June.

Adivi Sesh's 'Major'

Adivi Sesh's first pan-India movie ‘Major’ will be released in theatres worldwide on June 3 in Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam. According to the most recent information, the biographical action drama received a U/A rating and will run for two hours and 30 minutes. The film is directed by Shashi Kiran Tikka and stars Saiee Manjrekar as the female lead character. Adivi Sesh will portray the role inspired by real-life 26/11 martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan in Major, which is bankrolled by Sony Pictures Films India, A+S Movies, and GMB Entertainment.

Nani's 'Ante Sundaraniki'

'Ante Sundaraniki' is one of Telugu cinema's most eagerly anticipated films in recent years. The rom-com film, starring Nani and Nazriya Fahadh, will be released in theatres on June 10, 2022. The lead pair has begun promoting the movie ever since it entered the post-production phase. The film is directed by Vivek Athreya and stars Rohini, Nadiya, Harsha, and others. It is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, will be released in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

Naga Shaurya's 'Krishna Vrinda Vihari'

Director Anish R Krishna's upcoming Telugu rom-com 'Krishna Vrinda Vihari', featuring Naga Shaurya in the lead, will release on June 24. Produced by Ira Creations, the film was originally supposed to release on May 20. However, that was not to happen and rumours began to do the rounds that the film had dropped out of the summer race. Music for the film has been scored by Mahati Swara Sagar and cinematography is by Sai Sriram. Shirley Setia essays the female lead in the film in which Naga Shaurya plays a Brahmin.

Satyadev, Tamannaah's 'Gurtundha Seetakalam'

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia’s pan-India film 'Gurthunda Seethakalam' will be released in June. The release date is not yet revealed. Starring alongside Satyadev, the film will narrate the story of finding true love in today's age and era. The film is directed by Nagasekhar and produced by Nagashekar Movies in association with Manikanta Entertainments and Sri Vedaakshara Movies. Megha Akash, Kavya Shetty and Suhasini Maniratnam form rest of the cast. The technical crew of this film includes Kaala Bhairava for music and Satya Hegde for cinematography.

Kiran Abbavaram's 'Sammathame'

Kiran Abbavaram, who wowed audiences with 'SR Kalyana Mandapam', is gearing up to entertain with the upcoming rom-com, titled 'Sammathame', the teaser which is has piqued everyone's interest. Directed by Gopinath Reddy, the movie has Kiran Abbavaram, Chandini Chowdhary, Saddam, and others in important roles. Produced by Kankanala Praveena under UG Productions, the movie is slated to release in theatres on June 24.

Satyadev's 'Godse'

Satyadev starrer 'Gode' will hit the theatres on June 17. Directed by Gopiganesh Pattabhi, the film is produced by C Kalyan under the banner of CK Screens. The film will mark the Tollywood debut of Aishwarya Lekshmi, who plays the leading lady opposite Satyadev. The film also features Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Nagendra Babu, Prudhvi Raj, Noel Sean, Priyadarshi Pulikonda and Chaitanya Krishna in pivotal roles. The film's music is composed by Sunil Kashyap.
