‘Jai Hanuman’: Prasanth Varma-Rishab Shetty film’s grand launch to be held in Hampi - Report

After the grand success of the 2024 mythological superhero film, ‘HanuMan’, directed by Prasanth Varma, starring Teja Sajja, the makers have been working on expanding the universe. The sequel of the film ‘Jai Hanuman’ is led by ‘Kantara’ fame Rishab Shetty and recent reports suggest a grand launch event will take place in a historic place.

According to a report by 123Telugu, the grand launch event of the film is expected to take place on February 22, 2026. It will be in the town of Hampi. It further suggests that filmmaker Prasanth Varma has also completed the movie’s pre-production and scripting work. The shooting is reported to begin in April 2026.

About ‘Jai Hanuman’

Speaking about the upcoming film ‘Jai Hanuman’, it will revolve around Lord Hanuman, with Rishab Shetty essaying the role of the deity. It will also feature Rana Daggubati. Its prequel, ‘HanuMan’ includes Teja Sajja, whose character receives some powers like those of Lord Hanuman, which he uses to defend villagers from adversaries. He is also expected to make a special appearance in the film.
