It is often said that just your marksheet cannot decide what your faith is going to be in the future. A similar case seems to be
Thalapathy Vijay proving this theory, as after his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam’s gigantic win during the Tamil elections, he is hours away from taking the chair of Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile, his old academic records have resurfaced on social media, where he seems to be an "average student" who scored 65 percent in his Class 10 board exams.
Subject-wise marks
As per News18, the ‘Jana Nayagan’ star scored 711 out of 1100 marks. That comes to 65 percent. The marksheet shows how he performed in each subject. In the Tamil subject, he performed well, as he scored 155 out of 200 in it. Then in English, he got 133 out of 200. In science, he scored 206 out of 300. In social science, he got 122 out of 200. But in mathematics, he scored only 95 out of 200. Even with lower marks in math, his total was enough to pass.
Vijay’s school and college life
Talking more about his early education days, the Tamil star studied at Fathima School in Kodambakkam. After he moved to Balalok School in Virugambakkam. Completing his primary education, he later joined Loyola College in Chennai and chose to study visual communication. He then dropped out of college midday as he decided to act in the film, and this decision changed his life as he became one of the biggest stars in the industry.
Vijay took a career from films to politics
After completing over 3 decades in the industry, Vijay entered politics. His film ‘Jana Nayagan,' which is yet to hit the theaters, is announced to be his last outing in cinema as he solely focuses on his career in politics.
The movie features Pooja Hegde as the leading lady, Bobby Deol playing the main villain, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mamitha Baiju, and more.Get the latest entertainment updates from the Times of India, along with the
