Vasanth Ravi and Bharathiraja's 'Rocky' gears up for OTT release?

Vasanth Ravi and veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja's upcoming film 'Rocky' is touted to be a high-octane action revenge drama. Directed by Arun Matheswaran, the movie which co-stars Raveena Ravi, Rohini, is presented by Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara's 'Rowdy Pictures'.

The latest buzz is that, 'Rocky' is gearing up for a direct OTT release and an official announcement on the same is expected to be announced soon, revealing the OTT platform in which the film will be streamed. With the current pandemic situation due to COVID-19 and the lockdown being extended, more and more films made for theatre release are moving towards an OTT release.

Bharathirajaa will be seen in the role of an elderly gangster, and the director had told us that this would be "a powerful role". The film, starring Taramani fame Vasanth Ravi, is an action movie set against a gangster backdrop, but with an emotional core. The film has been shot by Shreeyas Krishna, and has music by Darbooka Siva.
