As per the Sacnilk report, ‘Avatar: Fire And Ash’ collected a total of Rs 9.50 crore on its 9th day at the Indian box office. The weekend rush helped the sales rise again; however, the number did not match the earnings of week 1. The film has earned a total of Rs 126.65 crore at the Indian box office.
As for occupancy, the film had a total of 48.14% English occupancy for shows on December 27. Evening shows were the most popular amongst the masses. Hindi occupancy for ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ stood at 32.50%. Telugu occupancy followed close behind with 26.25%.

James Cameron on the future of the ‘Avatar’ series
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the creator of the franchise, James Cameron, opened up about his plans for the famed franchise.
He revealed what his plans are if his latest installment is unable to perform as well as its previous 2 parts at the box office.
Discussing the matter, he shared, “I don’t know if the saga goes beyond this point. I hope it does. But, you know, we prove that business case every time we go out...If we don’t get to make 4 and 5, for whatever reason, I’ll hold a press conference, and I’ll tell you what we were gonna do. How’s that?”
