The past week was a jamboree for fashion obsessee, as the Oscars was nothing short of a fashion fest. From
Kristen Stewart wearing a Chanel custom look, consisting of a tuxedo jacket and itsy-bitsy hot pants, to Timothée Chalamet taking androgynous fashion quite seriously by wearing a sequined black suit by Louis Vuitton, the fashion catalogue was exploding. But are stars down in South’s Malayalam movie industry staying stylish?
ETimes presents, #StylishSunday, a segment where we make an effort to compile and rank the best fashion moments of the week from M-Town!
Anupama Parameswaran‘Premam’ actress Anupama Parameswaran’s fashion mantra is comfort over anything and everything, and she topped our list with her model off-duty look this week. The diva wore an off-white co-ord, consisting of baggy pants and a crop top with square patch pockets and buttons. The laid-back look is ideal for days when you want to hang out with friends as well as run some errands. For accessories, she chose a pair of dangling earrings and beige pointed-toe heels. Her luscious curly hair was secured into a messy ponytail, and Anupama Parameswaran just made our hearts skip a beat!
Rima KallingalActor-producer Rima Kallingal was attending the Dubai Expo 2020. For one of the days, she chose a maxi shirt dress in a mint hue. She accessorized the outfit with a pair of chunky hoop earrings, and a pair of rainbow sneakers. Rima Kallingal’s ensemble had a perfect blend of chicness and comfort, and we totally adore it!
SwasikaState award-winning actress Swasika is a fan of ethnics. One can mostly find her in Indian ensembles, and the saree is her go-to.
This week around, we spotted her in two different saree looks, both florals. And, oh yes, Miranda Priestly’s “Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking,” echoed in our ears, but hey, florals have almost become an all-rounder irrespective of the seasons. So, florals are fine! On the first day, she wore a soft floral multi-colour saree, teamed with a blouse with same print, and on the other day, she was seen flaunting a mauve and wine saree, paired with an organza blouse and both grabbed our attention.
Raashi KhannaFor Ugadi celebrations, the gorgeous Raashi Khanna chose a bandhani sharara set in a purple hue. The one-shoulder asymmetric bandhani cape, and the sharara, had festive vibes written all over them and Raashi Khanna totally aced the stunning outfit.
