Priyadarshan’s wise words

Sharing a screenshot of their WhatsApp exchange along with behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets, Kalyani revealed how her father had offered her advice she would “never erase.” His message read, “Remember one thing in your mind... never erase this message. Success should never go to your head and failure should never go to your heart, chakkare. This is the best advice I can ever give you. Love you, good nit.”

Kalyani responded simply but warmly, “Yes Acha (Dad), always. Love you.”

The post struck an emotional chord with fans and colleagues alike. Actor Santhy Balachandran commented, “Your dad's message is the best. Onwards and upwards,” while another follower wrote, “Priyadarshan sir’s wisdom is timeless.”

Along with sharing the exchange, Kalyani expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming audience response. “Yesterday, our film reached a number that was only possible because of you, the audience.
I’m beyond speechless and truly grateful for the love being showered on this film,” she wrote.Reflecting on the success, she added, “In our industry, content has always been king, the biggest star of all, and once again, you’ve proved that stories with vision will always find their place with you. Thank you for giving us the chance to show that.”
Kalyani also took the opportunity to credit director Dominic Arun for his vision and the entire team for putting their best into Lokah. With the film still drawing crowds in theatres, she noted that the achievement was as much about teamwork as it was about storytelling.
