One of the most awaited upcoming movie, 'Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies', is the first WWE- style wrestling movie in Malayalam cinema. The action-comedy has drawn attention for its unique theme and energetic presentation. As excitement builds, the makers have officially announced the movie’s theatrical release date, adding an intriguing hidden detail in the poster that has set social media abuzz.The makers announced that ‘Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies’ will release in theatres on January 22, 2026. While sharing it on social media handles, they wrote, “THE WAIT IS OVER! CHATHA PACHA RELEASES WORLDWIDE ON 22 JAN 2026. Releasing in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada & Hindi! The bell rings on 22 Jan, only in cineMas. Don’t miss the fight!” Along with the date reveal, fans noticed that there has been a letter ‘M’ pointed out in the poster on the poster. This detail fueled speculation that Mammootty may appear in a cameo. According to Pinkvilla, he could be seen as a wrestling coach, though it has not been confirmed by the makers..Set against the colourful setting of Fort Kochi, the movie follows a group of unlikely individuals who come together to form a wrestling team. While the beginning is a disorganized and rough experience, it soon leads to a series of heated rivalries and incredibly dramatic matches. The narrative blends humour with action as the group’s local fights gradually push them towards bigger challenges, higher stakes, and louder showdowns inside the ring.Directed by Adhvaith Nayar, who has also co-written the script with Sanoop Thykoodam. The movie stars with Roshan Mathew as Vetri, Arjun Ashokan as Loco Lobo, and Vishak Nair as Cherian in the lead. The ensemble cast includes Ishan Shoukath, Siddique, Lakshmi Menon, Rafi, Carmen S.
