Former Bigg Boss Kannada winner Shashi Kumar to foray into Sandalwood

Shashi Kumar, winner of Bigg Boss Kannada season six, is foraying into Sandalwood with Mehabooba, a romantic movie, directed by Anup Antony. The film also has Paavana as the female lead. Actors Bullet Prakash, Jai Jagadish and Kalyani will also be seen in pivotal roles.Talking about the development, Shashi says, “I was getting plenty of offers ever since I came out of the house. However, I wanted to ensure that my debut film meets people’s expectations. I heard around 10 scripts before finalising this one. I play Karthik, a youngster, who lives life on his own terms. It is a love story which people will be able to relate to.”Acting is not new for Shashi though. He has performed in plays and also won gold medals for it. “I am well-versed with folk dances. I have also acted in plays, which have won gold medals at the national level. I just need to make subtle changes for the silver screen. Expressions need to be moderate on the big screen as compared to stage performances,” he sums up.
