The royal family strikes a regal pose

The royal family of Pataudi recently welcomed Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu's daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, and everyone is overjoyed.
On the occasion of Diwali, the new mum, Soha Ali Khan took to Instagram to share a magnificent picture of brother Saif Ali Khan with wife Kareena Kapoor Khan, husband Kunal Kemmu and herself. She captioned the picture as, "Happy Diwali to all - may the light dispel the darkness and bring you joy, peace and love"
All four of them are seen dressed in their fineries for the regal photo. While Soha and Kareena are majestically seated, Saif and Kunal stand behind them, posing for the camera.

Bollywood actors, Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan are the children of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, the former captain of the Indian cricket team and the Nawab of Pataudi from 1952 - 1971. They are descendants of Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi, who was the eighth Nawab of Pataudi. Although the princely state of Pataudi had been merged with India after the end of the British Raj in 1947, Saif's father held the title until the entitlements were abolished by the Government of India in 1971.

Aditi Rao Hydari

The beautiful Aditi Rao Hydari belongs to not one but two royal lineages. She is the great-granddaughter of Akbar Hydari and the grand niece of Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari, former Governor of Assam. Her maternal grandfather Raja J Rameshwar Rao was the erstwhile Raja of Wanaparthy family, who headed the administration of Wanaparthi state during its day.

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's wife, director Kiran Rao belongs to the royal family of J Rameshwar Rao who was the Raja of Wanaparthy, Mahbubnagar district, Telangana. Also, this may come as a surprise to many, but actress Aditi Rao Hydari and filmmaker Kiran Rao are actually cousins.

Actresses Raima and Riya Sen, daughter of yesteryear actress Moonmoon Sen, also have a royal ancestry. Their father, Bharat Dev Sharma is a member of the royal family of Tripura. And their paternal grandmother, Ila Devi was the princess of Cooch, Behar, whose younger sister Gayatri Devi was the Maharani of Jaipur. Gayatri's paternal great-grandmother Indira was the only daughter of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III of Baroda, Gujrat.

Yesteryear actress Bhagyashree who was very popular in the 90s and is best known for her role in 'Maine Pyaar Kiya,' also belongs to a royal lineage. She hails from the royal family of Sangli in Maharashtra. Her father, Vijay Singhrao Madhavrao Patwardhan is the Raja of Sangli.
