'Dhurandhar' star Ranveer Singh once said he would have been “LOST” without Deepika Padukone amid stardom pressures

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh remain one of Bollywood's most loved couples, both on and off screen. The couple married on November 14, 2018, at Lake Como in Italy after dating for over five years. They worked in movies like ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela,’ ‘Bajirao Mastani,’ ‘83,’ and ‘Padmaavat.’ In an old Instagram Live interaction, Ranveer Singh spoke candidly about the emotional support Deepika Padukone provided during his journey.During a live chat with footballer Sunil Chhetri, Ranveer reflected on his years in the film industry and the role Deepika Padukone played in grounding him. He said, "I wouldn't have been able to cope with the pressures of being a movie star if she wouldn't have been there. I would have been lost." He revealed that he met Deepika Padukone three years after entering show business and that she has been by his side ever since. “I probably wouldn't have achieved what I did if it wasn't for her,” he added, highlighting her importance in his personal and professional life.Ranveer Singh also addressed why Deepika Padukone often worries about his intense approach to acting. He explained that she has seen more ups and downs in her own career, which makes her more evolved. "She is much more evolved. She has seen more ups and downs in her career. She is a great guide for me. She is a pillar for me. She keeps me on track. I probably wouldn't have achieved what I did if it wasn't for her."He admitted that he pushes himself to extremes to bring characters alive, sometimes at the cost of his health. Deepika’s concern, he said, “I would have been lost. She worries for me only because she sees I will go to any extent to get the desired result of the character. I can't say it's healthy, as it takes a toll on you, but when you push yourself to the brink and come out, you evolve, and that's the beauty of the art."
