Dhruv Rathee’s fresh ATTACK: ‘Rs 300 crore propaganda film’ CLAIM; netizens say, 'It's 'Dhurandhar'

YouTuber Dhruv Rathee has once again sparked controversy with a strong social media post. Without taking the film’s name, Rathee said that his next video will “destroy a Rs 300 crore propaganda film.” His words came just days after Dhurandhar crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the Indian box office. The post quickly grabbed attention and led many to believe he was talking about the Ranveer Singh-starrer.

On Saturday afternoon, Dhruv Rathee took to X and made a bold claim. He wrote, “It takes 1 YouTube video to destroy a Rs 300 crore propaganda film. And I guarantee you that the MELTDOWN after this video will be so bad. They’re not ready for this. Releasing tonight ;).”



Though he did not name the film directly, many users replied saying it was clearly aimed at 'Dhurandhar'.

Earlier criticism over film’s violence

This is not the first time Dhruv Rathee has spoken against the film. Back in November, after the trailer release, he openly criticised director Aditya Dhar. Referring to the violent scenes, Rathee wrote, “Aditya Dhar has truly crossed a limit of cheapness in Bollywood.”




He further added, “The extreme violence, gore and torture shown in his latest film trailer is the equivalent of watching ISIS beheadings and calling it ‘entertainment’.” Continuing his criticism, he said, “His lust for money is so unhinged that he is willingly poisoning the minds of the young generation.”

'Dhurandhar’s massive box office success

Despite the criticism, Dhurandhar continues to perform strongly at the box office. Released on December 5, the spy thriller has already earned over Rs 480 crore net in India and around Rs 740 crore gross worldwide.
