Nimrat Kaur, who was seen walking the ramp for Delhi Times Fashion Week recently, spoke to us about her nostalgic memories in Delhi as a college student at Delhi University. Known for her critically acclaimed performances in The Lunchbox (2013) and Airlift (2016), the actress is a Delhi girl at heart. "I've been eating some lovely food while getting my fittings done here. Delhi has some amazing food." She said, noting that all Delhi food is great but her favourites remain chole bhature, biryani, chaat.For DU students, local tapris are the best hangout spots between classes. Nimrat shared, "We used to have this chana kulcha guy outside our college, it was Matar kulcha, actually. He used to be brilliant." As she reminisced about the local gems, she said, "In our college, there was a small little tapri behind the football field. That was Irfan Chacha. I remember, we used to have Maggi there. And then you used to have Kamla Nagar for these yummy treats." Nimrat was excited to be back in her home city for the fashion week and stunned in a stunning blue lehenga as the showstopper.
