'Baaghi 4' box office collection Day 1: Tiger Shroff starrer opens to Rs 12 crore collection amid tough competition from 'The Conjuring: Last Rites'

With blocked seats included, the figure rose to Rs 7.75 crore, marking the best advance booking for a Tiger starrer in recent times. Based on advance sales, 'Baaghi 4 was' projected to open in the Rs 12–13 crore net range. However, some trade analysts expressed caution due to inflated block booking numbers. Realistically, the film’s opening could fall between Rs 9–11 crore net.The film’s performance was significantly impacted by its clash with Hollywood horror film 'The Conjuring: Last Rites'. The James Wan-produced film stormed Indian theatres with a record-breaking Rs 18 crore net debut, grossing approximately Rs 21 crore across all languages on Day 1. With this, it became the biggest Hollywood horror opener ever in India, overshadowing 'Baaghi 4' in the process.Meanwhile, the film also clashed with the political drama 'The Bengal Files'. However, going by the early reports the film only earned an estimated Rs 1.75 crore on its first day of release. Despite the average start, 'Baaghi 4' is just a few crores away from entering Tiger’s Top 10 highest-grossing films list. At present, 'Heropanti 2' holds the 10th spot with a lifetime collection of Rs 21.5 crore.Directed by A.
