Australia wins the Eurovision Audience Poll

The winner of the Eurovision Audience Poll for the Grand Finale 2026 is none other than Delta Goodrem from Australia, following her Dress Rehearsal Two for the song contest. Gaining about 15.5% of votes from 3620 participants, she leads the chart. The other member countries that hold the spot in the top ten are Bulgaria, Finland, Moldova, Greece, Denmark, Austria, Norway, Sweden, and Romania, respectively, according to Eurovoix.

The previous winners of the Eurovision Audience Poll

In 2025, Sweden won the audience poll but finished in fourth place at the end. Meanwhile, Switzerland took first place in the audience poll in 2024 and held the title by the end as well. However, in 2023, Finland won the poll but came a close second after the Grand Finale.

About Eurovision

Being one of the biggest music festivals, the Eurovision Song Contest had over 35 countries competing against each other for the title. The 2026 contest has been happening in Austria, as they won the title last year. The first event was held on May 12, 2026, and followed by the second semi-final on Thursday, May 14, 2026. Meanwhile, due to the Gaza war, five countries (Iceland, Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands, and Slovenia) have boycotted the entire event by refusing to broadcast, after withdrawing their names. This call was taken after countries expressed their view of excluding Israel from the competition to the Eurovision Broadcasting Union.
