Will Smith sexual harassment lawsuit: Brian King Joseph shares video about matter days before filing for a complaint
TRIGGER WARNING: This article includes references to sexual abuse.
Brian King Joseph, a well-known violinist, has filed a sexual harassment claim against famed actor Will Smith. Only days before he filed the claim, the musician had taken to his social media account in order to share and reveal some details about the matter and what happened to him.
He further explained that one of the reasons why he is coming out with his story is to start the conversation surrounding reporting sexual misconduct. He shared that it is unfair treatment if you get ridiculed and/or fired for simply reporting workplace harassment. “I know that there’s a lot of other people out there who have been afraid to speak out, and I understand, and if that’s you, I see you,” he concluded.
As per AP reports, Will Smith has also been sued for wrongful termination as well. In the claims, Joseph reported that the ‘Afterearth’ actor had groomed him during his tour last year for “further sexual exploitation.” He also alleged that someone had entered his hotel room once and had let behind what was termed as “a sexual threat of violence.” This also included a handwritten note. The note read, “Brian, I’ll be back…just us, Stone F,” along with a heart drawn on it.
