Bollywood actor
Shakti Kapoor and
Rani Chatterjee will share screen space in the upcoming Bhojpuri film 'Lady Singham'. Since the movie has been announced, it has created a lot of excitement among the audience as they are eager to watch the chemistry between the duo. While in the film, Shakti and Rani will be seen fighting each other as one is an antagonist and the other the protagonist, in real life, they share a sweet bond full of love and respect for each other.
A few days back, Rani took to her Instagram account to show the gift which she received from Shakti Kapoor. The actress posted a photo wearing a pure white Lucknowi salwar kameez and captioned it with, "लखनऊ की कुर्ती सलवार #ilovethis thank u so much shakti Kapoor ji इतना प्यारा गिफ्ट के लिए i love this #indiangirls #salwarkameez #lovly #love #instaphoto #likeforfollow #lovethis".
Now, while speaking exclusively with ETimes, Shakti Kapoor shared the reason behind gifting Rani saying, "We were shooting in Lucknow for the film 'Lady Singham'. So I told my friend that I wanted to buy Lucknowi salwar kameez for my daughter
Shraddha Kapoor and wife Shivangi Kolhapure. After the lunch break, he brought varieties of dresses into my van and at the same time Rani Chatterjee entered. I asked her to choose one and show us how it looked after donning.
Later, when Rani tried that attire, she was adorable and so I gifted that dress to her."
The makers of 'Lady Singham' started shooting for the film on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi last year. It is jointly produced by Sarla A Saraogi and Rahul Sharma. Directed by Dilip Gulati, the makers have not yet announced the release date of the film.
