Ankush has donated Rs 1 lakh to the CM relief fund and also an additional Rs 1 lakh to the fund created by Federation of Cine Technicians and Workers of Eastern India.
Actor, producer and TMC MP Dev Adhikari donated Rs1 crore for the safety of his constituency Ghatal in the wake of the worldwide pandemic. The fund will be used to makeshift the hospitals in Ghatal constituency into quarantine or isolation centres and to the necessary personal protection equipment for health-care workers fighting the disease. While he is staying at home, Dev is leaving no stones unturned to take all the necessary precautionary measures for his parliamentary constituency.
Meanwhile, actor-politician Nusrat Jahan has also contributed Rs 30 lakh and her one month wage to the State Emergency Relief Fund.
