Buddhadeb Guha’s two short stories ‘Baba Howa’ and ‘Swami Howa’ will soon be adapted to a film. What’s interesting is
Bratya Basu whose last film direction was Tara way back in 2010 will return to don the diretor’s heart keeping his busy theatre schedule aside.
The film is tentatively titled ‘Byabodhan’ and its script has been penned by the thespian along with Ujjwal Chattopadhyay. The story will address the distance created in relationships.
As per industry sources, Bratya is in talks with
Abir Chatterjee to play the lead. Popular Bangladeshi actor Mosharraf Karim may also join the cast. However, the final call on the casting is yet to be taken.
Meanwhile, Abir is all geared up for the release of his next ‘Asur’ directed by Pavel. The film also stars Nusrat Jahan and
Jeet in the lead and is making headlines ever since the trailer was dropped. Abir was last seen in Mainak Bhaumik directed ‘Bornoporichoy’ which also had Jisshu Sengupta in the lead.
