UCEED, CEED 2027 exam dates announced by IIT Bombay; registration details to be released soon

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has announced the examination dates for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2027 and the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2027. According to the official announcement, both entrance examinations will be conducted on January 17, 2027, in a single shift across the country. The UCEED examination is held for admission to Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes offered at: Meanwhile, CEED is conducted for admission to Master of Design (MDes) programmes at various Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Candidates will be able to apply online through the official websites: IIT Bombay is expected to announce the detailed schedule, including registration dates and other important information, by October 2026. The UCEED 2027 examination will include the following sections:Part A: Part B: The CEED 2027 examination will be conducted in two parts. Part A: Part B: Apart from IITs and IIITDM Jabalpur, several other institutes across India also accept UCEED scores for admission to design programmes. Candidates seeking admission to UCEED and CEED courses will have to qualify in the entrance examinations conducted by IIT Bombay.
