Indian Navy MR recruitment 2026: The Indian Navy will close the applications for the role of MR (Musician) today, April 26, 2026. Eligible and interested candidates can visit the official website to apply for the vacancies, joinindiannavy.gov.in. The written test will be conducted offline with 50 multiple-choice questions to be attempted in 30 minutes. The recruitment will be conducted through a structured selection process comprising four stages: Physical Fitness Test (PFT), written examination, Music Ability Test and Recruitment Medical Examination.

Candidates qualifying in the physical test will be shortlisted for the written examination. Those clearing the written stage will undergo the Music Ability Test, followed by a detailed medical assessment before final selection.

According to the notification, candidates must be born between July 1, 2004, and December 31, 2008. Applicants are required to have passed the matriculation examination with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks from a recognised board under the Ministry of Education.

The Navy has also specified that only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible to apply. Selected candidates will be required to remain unmarried throughout their four-year tenure.
