Haryana Board declares HBSE Class 12 result 2026 with 84.67% pass rate as girls outperform boys again; link active at bseh.org.in
HBSE Class 12 result 2026: The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH), Bhiwani has declared the Senior Secondary (Academic/Open School) Annual Examination 2026 results. Students can now access their scores through the official website www.bseh.org.in using their roll number or other required details.
The announcement was made by Board Chairman Dr Pawan Kumar during a press conference held in Bhiwani on May 12, 2026. The board released results for regular, self-study and Open School candidates, along with stream-wise, district-wise and category-wise performance data.
Regular candidates record 84.67 per cent pass percentage
The pass percentage for Senior Secondary Academic regular candidates stood at 84.67 per cent, while self-study candidates recorded 69.57 per cent.
A total of 2,42,856 students appeared in the regular Senior Secondary examination. Out of them, 2,05,618 candidates passed, while 10,498 students failed.
Among girls, 1,19,893 candidates appeared and 1,05,467 passed, taking the girls’ pass percentage to 87.97 per cent. Among boys, 1,22,963 students appeared and 1,00,151 cleared the examination, resulting in a pass percentage of 81.45 per cent. Girls outperformed boys by 6.52 percentage points.
Science stream records highest pass percentage
The Science stream recorded the best performance with a pass percentage of 90.08 per cent. Commerce stream students registered 88.20 per cent, while Arts stream students recorded 82.60 per cent.
Government schools recorded a pass percentage of 82.44 per cent, whereas private schools achieved 87.94 per cent. Rural students recorded a pass percentage of 84.98 per cent, slightly higher than urban students at 83.91 per cent.
District-wise data showed Charkhi Dadri as the top-performing district, while Nuh remained at the bottom in overall pass percentage.
Open School result also released
The Haryana Board also announced the Senior Secondary Open School Annual Examination 2026 results for fresh and re-appear categories.
The pass percentage for Open School fresh candidates stood at 42.15 per cent, while re-appear candidates recorded 50.09 per cent.
In the Open School fresh category, 15,288 students appeared and 6,444 passed. Among boys, 9,647 candidates appeared and 3,667 cleared the examination, recording a pass percentage of 38.01 per cent. Among girls, 5,640 candidates appeared and 2,777 passed, taking the girls’ pass percentage to 49.24 per cent.
Rural students in the Open School fresh category recorded a pass percentage of 40.44 per cent, while urban students recorded 44.87 per cent.
In the Open School re-appear category, 5,868 candidates appeared and 2,939 students passed.
Top scorers in Senior Secondary examination
The board also announced the top-performing students across all three streams. Deepika from Vivekanand Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Chhillar, Rewari secured 499 marks. Udita from Vishwabharya Kanya Gurukul, Roorkee scored 498 marks.
Yogita from Shiksha Bharti Global School, Budayan, Jind and Muskan from Gyan Bharti Public School, Dhamtan Sahib, Jind secured 497 marks each.
Re-evaluation window open for 20 days
Students who wish to apply for re-checking or re-evaluation of answer sheets can submit online applications with the prescribed fee within 20 days from the declaration of the result.
Schools can also download institutional results by logging in to the board portal using their user ID and password.
