The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the Class 12th results 2026 soon on the official website, cbse.gov.in. According to previous reports, the result was expected to be released in the third week of May. But the recent DigiLocker notice says that the results are expected to be released soon. The Class 12th exams were conducted from February 17 to April 10, 2026. While CBSE has not officially confirmed the exact result date or timing, the DigiLocker update has triggered expectations that the results could be released anytime during the current week.

Past result trends point towards May announcement

Previous result patterns also suggest that the declaration may not be far away. CBSE announced the Class 12 results on May 13 in both 2024 and 2025, while the 2023 results were declared on May 12. The only major disruption came during the pandemic period in 2022, when the result schedule was delayed until July.

Last year, the overall Class 12 pass percentage stood at 88.39 percent. Meanwhile, the board had already declared the CBSE Class 10 Result 2026 on April 15 this year. More than 23 lakh students cleared the examination.

Once released, provisional digital marksheets are expected to become instantly available on DigiLocker. Original marksheets and passing certificates will later be distributed through schools.
