Tirupati: Visakhapatnam-based devotees Tripiraneni Venkata Rathnam and Madhuri, and their sons Vijay and Vinay, donated ₹70 lakh to the
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Annaprasadam trust on Sunday.
The donors, accompanied by ATTF trust board member G Bhanu Prakash Reddy, met TTD additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary at the latter's camp office at Tirumala and formally handed over their donation in the form of a demand draft.

Venkaiah Chowdary thanked the donor devotees and explained the extensive reach of the Annaprasadam wing, TTD, which provides free food to over 2.5 crore devotees visiting Tirumala annually.
He also stated that the Tirupati trust was constantly working to streamline the Annaprasadam services to provide delicious, free food to devotees on pilgrimage to Tirumala from across the globe.
According to Venkaiah Chowdary, TTD will soon establish a state-of-the-art mega kitchen at Tirumala, spending ₹75 crore with support from the Reliance Group.
