Man gets life term for killing wife in Kakinada

Kakinada: A man was sentenced to life imprisonment for killing his wife in Kakinada district. Anasuri Venkata Ramana, a resident of Kota village in K. Gangavaram mandal, was found guilty of murdering his wife.The court, presided over by G Anandi, III additional district & sessions judge, Kakinada, pronounced the judgment on Friday and awarded the accused life imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 10,000.Two other accused were acquitted due to lack of evidence. The case was investigated by officers of Sarpavaram Police Station. Owing to scientific investigation and strong evidence presented before the court, the conviction of the prime accused was secured.
