Botcha suffers mild brain stroke, undergoes treatment in Hyderabad
Vijayawada: Leader of the Opposition in the legislative council and senior YSRCP leader Botcha Satyanarayana fell ill late Thursday night and was rushed to Hyderabad by his family. He reportedly suffered a mild brain stroke and is currently undergoing emergency treatment at City Neuro Centre, Hyderabad.Sources said a team of specialist doctors is closely monitoring his condition. Several medical tests have been conducted, and advanced medical care is being provided. Doctors confirmed that the veteran politician is stable and out of danger, and he is likely to be discharged within a couple of days.

Satyanarayana has been leading the YSRCP's aggressive battle against the ruling NDA in the upper house since the assembly budget session began last fortnight. The former minister has a history of heart-related health issues and underwent open-heart surgery in Hyderabad in 2023. After recovering, he resumed active political participation. News of his latest health setback has caused concern among party cadres and supporters.
