Vijayawada: The Greyhounds and OCTOPUS Police Commando teams of Andhra Pradesh Police brought laurels to the state by winning four prestigious trophies at the 16th All India Police Commando competitions held at the campus of the National Security Guard (NSG) in Manesar, Haryana. The AP Police Commando unit delivered an outstanding performance across several categories and secured the Best State Police Commando Trophy, recognising it as the top-performing commando team among participating state police forces. The team also won the Black Hawk Trophy for excellence in shooting. In addition, the commandos received the Rannaneeti Trophy for exhibiting the best operational leadership during the competition.
Apart from these achievements, the AP team also secured a bronze medal for its overall performance in the commando events.
