AP ECET 2026 posts high pass rate of 91.7%

Vijayawada: HRD and IT minister Nara Lokesh on Friday released the results of AP ECET 2026, which recorded an overall pass percentage of 91.72%.The Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) was conducted by JNTUA on behalf of APSCHE on April 23 for diploma and BSc (mathematics) students seeking lateral entry admissions into engineering and pharmacy courses.Out of 33,751 registered candidates, 32,434 appeared for the examination and 29,750 qualified. Female candidates outperformed male candidates with a pass percentage of 93.34%, while the pass percentage among male candidates stood at 90.93%.Among districts, Hyderabad recorded the highest overall pass percentage at 97.17%, followed by Krishna district with 95.43%. Vizianagaram reported one of the lowest pass percentages at 87.33%.Officials said objections to the preliminary key were invited till April 29 and reviewed by subject experts before preparation of the final key.
