Medical student missing for 10 days
Vadodara: Raopura police registered a missing person's report after a 21-year-old fourth-year medical student from Baroda Medical College, Paras Makwana, went untraceable around 10 days ago.According to police, he last spoke to his mother on April 27 and has been unreachable ever since, with his mobile phone switched off.Makwana had visited his hometown in Banaskantha on April 26 and returned to Vadodara the next day. After speaking to his mother upon his return, he did not contact his family again.Concerned family members approached his batchmates, but no one was aware of his whereabouts. Police said his hostel room at the medical college was found locked.During the preliminary inquiry, it was found that Makwana had withdrawn cash from an ATM near SSG Hospital on the day he went missing.Police launched a search and are scanning CCTV footage from areas around the college, the railway station and the ST bus depot to trace his movements.
