I-T officials raid office of Karur DMK candidate

Karur: Income tax officials conducted a raid at a textile export firm owned by DMK candidate M Thiyagarajan, in Karur on Sunday evening.The firm, located on the Karur–Erode road near Athur junction, came under the scanner when a team of around 10 officials from the department arrived at the premises around 6pm.According to sources, the officials reached the facility in two vehicles and began inquiries with employees present at the unit. The inspection continued into the evening, with officials reportedly examining documents and questioning staff as part of the operation. The raid is continuing.
