Iran on Sunday mocked Donald Trump after the U.S. President claimed victory amid the failure of talks. Ali Akbar Velayati, a senior advisor to Iran's supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei, said that the key to the Strait of Hormuz remained in the country's capable hands. Earlier, Iran's parliament speaker Mohammad Baqer-Ghalibaf, who headed the Iranian delegation during the talks with JD Vance-led American delegation, claimed that Washington DC failed to win Tehran's trust during the Islamabad negotiations.
