Karur: An incident in which the body of a 66-year-old road accident victim was mixed up with another body triggered confusion at the cremation in Karur on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as S Anantharaj, a resident of Puttampur Kalipalayam near Manalmedu along the Karur–Madurai highway. He was the district secretary of the Hind Mazdoor Sabha (HMS) trade union and a member of the Karur district monitoring committee.
