Woman attacked by employer dies in hospital
Thrissur: A 47-year-old woman from Vadanappally, whom her employer attacked in Bengaluru on Sunday, died while undergoing treatment at Jubilee Mission Medical College on Tuesday. She worked at a dog shelter home at Sulibele in Bengaluru. There were reports that her employer, who hails from Kollam, had tried to sexually abuse her.As per reports, he attacked the woman and her colleague, who wanted to quit their jobs due to his inappropriate behaviour, after consuming alcohol. The woman sustained serious head injuries and multiple clots. She first received treatment at two hospitals in Bengaluru and was shifted to Jubilee Mission Medical College on Monday. Sources at the hospital said she was critical and unconscious when she was brought here. She was on ventilator support when she was admitted at the hospital, said sources. Police had tried to take her statement but could not do so as her condition was critical. The man is now on the run and there were reports that he had circulated an audio clip admitting that he had attacked the woman. TNN
