Development panel reviews key projects

T'puram: The district development committee was convened on Saturday at the collectorate conference hall to assess the ongoing development projects across the district. The meeting, chaired by ADM T K Vineeth, was attended by several MLAs, including G Stephen, Antony Raju, C K Hareendran, V K Prasanth, I B Satheesh, and D K Murali.During the meeting, Stephen emphasised the need to accelerate the Aruvikkara tourism corridor project, Bonakkad Layam renovation, and Chullimanoor-Tholicode road work. He also urged the reinstatement of KSRTC services which were earlier reduced in his constituency.Raju called for the swift completion of the Vallakkadavu bridge reconstruction, the Vanchiyoor-Pattom Amayizhanjan canal slab installation, and the Poonthura geo tube project. He also highlighted the importance of expediting Smart City-KRFB works.Prasanth requested urgent repairs for broken signals and streetlights on KRFB urban roads, while Hareendran assessed progress on the Parassala taluk hospital and other health facilities.
