When this show was first offered to me, I asked what the format was? They told me it ends with a roka ceremony between a couple as the show's name suggests: 'Engaged'. I was surprised. I wondered how someone could take such a big life decision on a reality show. At first, I questioned whether something like that could truly be real. But once I entered the show and saw how everyone lived together, I understood the dynamics better. Things started changing, especially when the parents came in. By then, the emotions had grown deeper. (Photo: Instagram)

I’m still in touch with the contestants. Some couples who had their roka on the show are still together. That changed my perspective. Earlier, I used to think, how can love happen on a reality show? What if people are just pretending to gain followers? But that wasn’t the case. I’m saying this honestly, if it had been fake, I would have admitted it. But it wasn’t. I met their families too, and they were genuine and respectable people. For some, a roka might just seem like a formality. But for them, it was serious. It truly meant something. (Photo: Instagram)

I’m getting married soon and I’ll tell you how I plan to announce it. There won’t be any buildup or suspense. I won’t tease it or ask people to guess who it is. There won’t be any dramatic face reveal either. I'll announce our wedding with our photo. I’ll simply post a picture of her with vermilion on her forehead. Straight and simple, that’s just how I am. For me, love means having many choices around you but still choosing the same person every single day, without even thinking about anyone else. If either I or my partner start thinking about someone else, even a little, I feel that’s wrong. Love should be 100%. It can’t be 99% with 1% doubt. I’m very clear about that. If we are together, we should be fully committed. Otherwise, there is no point. (Photo: Instagram)

In the entertainment industry, we meet many good and attractive people. It’s not like there are no options. But if you truly love someone, you stay with them for a reason — till the end. Temptations may exist, but love means choosing your person despite that. (Photo: Instagram)

The day you start liking someone else, it probably means you don’t truly love your partner. Instead of hurting someone, it’s better to be honest and walk away. For me, love means never giving up on your person. No relationship is perfect, and no individual is perfect. But love is about standing by each other and working through everything together. For me, love is when you feel you can’t live without that person. She is my partner, and I naturally want to share everything with her. At the end of the day, I feel like telling her everything I did, who I met, and even the small things. I would love to go back and gossip with my partner about my entire day. Like today, Jiya was sitting with me giving interviews, I’d want to go and tell her that too. It’s just a normal habit. That’s love for me. It’s like having a best friend. Love is friendship as well.
